Alex Toral had a walk-off hit in the bottom of the seventh to lift Archbishop McCarthy to an 8-7 win over Goleman, keeping the Mavericks unbeaten at 7-0. Christian Demby hit a three-run home run and swiped two bags.

Winn Allen got the win as Calvary Christian continued its dominance in 4A-14 with a 5-4 win over Coral Springs Charter. The Eagles have won four in a row after an 0-3 start.

Cypress Bay pounded out 10 hits en route to an 11-0 win over Piper in 8A-12. The Lightning, who have won two in a row, lead the district with a 2-0 record.

Coral Springs capitalized on a five-run sixth inning to beat Deerfield Beach 8-6 in 8A-11.
