Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Tuesday, February 9th, 2016

Tyler Hall went 2-for-4 and drove in the winning run in the seventh to lift Coral Springs to a 6-5 win over former district foe Coral Glades in the Colts First Pitch Classic on Tuesday. Darrin Brown went 2-for-3 with a double as the Colts improved to 2-0.

Nick Marcantonio hit two home runs, driving in three runs, as Pompano Beach beat Deerfield Beach 9-5.

The long ball also served Piper well in its 12-1 win over South Broward. Greg Snyder hit a two-ruin blast, and
Joe Spano’s shot drove in three.

Two days into the season and Douglas already is off to a 2-0 start after a hard-fought, 8-6 win over St. Thomas in the Falcons First Pitch Classic at Flanagan.
