American Heritage lost their home opener, but this game was more about paying tribute to teammate, Daniel Perez, who passed away in an ATV accident last summer.

A shutout performance by Casey Garcia and Chris Medina, along with a home run by Kevin Abraham, lead the way for Somerset as they beat Westminster 7-0.

Flanagan received a dominant pitching performance from Mike Melendez and played fundamentally sound baseball throughout to defeat Calvary Christian 4-0 Friday night.

McCarthy’s quartet of pitchers hold North Broward Prep’s hitters to only two hits, both by Christian Correa in this extra-inning contest.

Pembroke Pines Charter scored a major early season victory in District 15-4A, beating Cardinal Gibbons 2-1 on the road.

University used a five run sixth inning to stun Coral Springs in the championship game of the Colts First Pitch Classic Thursday night. The Suns won the title game 5-4.

The Douglas Eagles used strong pitching and timely hitting to carry them to a 10-0 win over Deerfield Beach on Thursday.
