Spring Break week is usually a time that brings out chaos in the Power Rankings each year, but no such thing happened at the top of the rankings this week. The top six teams remained unchanged, and have distanced themselves from the rest of the county. From there, its a roll of the dice which team will have a hot week. Welcome to high school baseball in 2023! Here we goooo.....

Trivia Question: How many times have the Eagles given up six or more runs in a game in the past two years? Answer: Twice. This past week against Columbus, and last April vs. Western. And they won both games. Over the span of 45 games, they have gone 43-2. Good luck 7A opponents.

In a normal season, the Mavericks would have been seen as the most dominant team in the county with a 12-1 record. But with Douglas cruising, McCarthy keeps playing second fiddle. They have a chance to change that this week when they host the Eagles on Thursday night...

Another team flying under the radar, the Patriots picked up a big win this past week when they knocked off #5 Taravella. Heritage has a chance to pad their record this week, with three games against teams with records of .500 or worse...

The Eagles, took care of business last week against Pine Crest. Tuesday looks to be a big day, as it is a battle of two, two-time defending state champions in Douglas and NBP. With both teams favored to get back to states, little more than bragging rights are at stake...

The Trojans have faced three teams this season in the Broward Top 10. They have lost those games by a combined 25-6 score. If Taravella wants to take the leap into the upper echelon of Broward teams, they will have to be better in big games. They get that shot this week.

The Sharks have played well against many inferior opponents this year, and sprinkled in just enough wins over good teams to suggest they are for real. Over the next two weeks, we all will get answers on how good University can be, as they face PB #4 West Boca, and #1 Benjamin...

Consistent with previous years, there is no team in South Florida that shows the ability to beat anybody, or lose to anybody, on any given day. Whether this talented squad can string four games together in a row come playoff time, will determine how far West Broward can go...

The Lions enter the rankings for the first time this season under new manager Jason Stettner. Sagemont will start their second half coming off a strong performance over spring break, where they went 3-1 in tournament play.
