Piper 16, Deerfield Beach 1 – Joseph Spano struck out 11 and allowed one hit in five innings as the Bengals (5-11) snapped a four-game losing streak with the 8A-11 victory. Jovanni Alamo went 4-for-4 with two runs.

Coral Springs 7, South Plantation 3 – Justin Mixon went 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI, and Mike Montalvo went 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI to pace the Colts (10-5), who have won two in a row. Brian Llorente led the Paladins (5-7), going 2-for-3 with a double, sacrifice fly and three RBIs.
