Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Monday, February 24th, 2014

The hard work put in the weight room during the off season paid off Monday as baseball’s flew out of the yard. The Monarch Knights drove in seven in way of the long ball in a 14-0 win over Piper. Joey Hennessey hit a grand slam, and Joey Rugare hit a three-run homer for the Knights. Somerset’s Jack Khawly hit a three-run shot in their 7-2 win over Coral Glades. In a 5-3 win, Coral Springs’ Davis Alessio hit two homers and drove in four against Deerfield Beach. Check out the rest of the day’s action below.
