Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Wednesday, March 25th, 2015

St. Thomas earned its second loss of the season, falling 12-3 to Huntington Beach, Calif., but then came back strong to defeat Leesville Road, N.C. 4-2 in the National High School Invitational in Cary, N.C. Jordan Spicer earned the win in the second game.

Somerset Academy won its fourth in a row as it beat Prairie View, CO. 10-1 in the Perfect Game Tournament in Emerson, GA. Brandon Valentin struck out seven in six innings, and Mike Van Degna and Derek Cartaya each had three hits.

The HSBN March Madness Shootout continued into its fourth day with Coral Springs, South Plantation, West Broward and Flanagan representing Broward with wins. See our tournament coverage for more information.
