Hallandale scored in the bottom of the eighth inning to walk off on McArthur 5-4 in a non-district matchup Wednesday. It was the fourth win in a row for the Chargers (9-4).

Fort Lauderdale broke a two-game losing streak as it defeated Plantation 15-4 in an 8A-14 game. The Flying L’s improved to 11-7, 5-3.

John McKenna’s three-run home run proved to be the difference as Douglas rallied to beat Lamont, IL 3-2. The Eagles won their fourth in a row to improve to 17-2.
