Bio
Jerry Albert played at perennial HS power Archbishop Molloy HS, NY and at Queens College, NY. He began his coaching career at his alma mater, assisting legendary HS Coach Jack Curran. In his seven years as Head JV coach, the team made it to the City Championship 5 times, winning 4 NY City Titles. At Coral Springs Charter, Albert has built a consistent, winning program, having made it to the Regional Semi-finals the past three seasons and four of the past five. The 2010 campaign included wins over a number of nationally ranked opponents and ended with the team having its most successful season to date. Jerry Albert was recognized as the Sun-Sentinel Coach of the Year in 2010. His career record on the Varsity level is 157-127 through 2011.
